I was just diagnosed with HIV. I am trying to figure this out and thought that maybe sharing what I am going through would be a good way to get some feelings out and maybe educate myself in the process.

Hi Dan, thanks a lot for your weblog! It inspired me, to do the same. My therapy will start this week, and i wanna tell my german readers, what it means and how it works, with all side- and psychological effects. I don't do it as video blog (i am not as open as you, i don't wanna show my face), maybe i realize it later as audioblog, but i started it yesterday "classical" als written blog. Maybe we can also exchange experiences. cu. Chris

One night I stumbled on your profile on youtube.com. I began to watch each blog one at a time in no particular sequence. Through your blogs I have learned a lot about you, myself, and about life in general. You are a very strong being and I admire you for that. I noticed that you look for the silver lining in every situation. Not many people would be forgiving to the people who intentionally or unintentionally infected them. I hope you are at peace because you come across as though you are. I just wish that my father would be more like you. He too was infected by the lady he was seeing.
I hope that you keep sharing your story with the world. Lately you havent posted anything and Im wondering how you are doing. I may not know you but I care. So please keep us updated on how you are doing.

I am frankly very impressed and if it's possible, proud of you, for sharing your story with... well, everyone. While the fact that random people (e.g. me) can know the intimate details of something so personal as your life living with HIV, it is also amazing to know that you can inspire so many random people (again, e.g. me).
